Tipping

Tipping requires Stripe to be connected in Settings. Once connected, there are two ways for your audience to tip:

• Tip Jar: If you check "Enable Tip Jar" in the gig's Other Features section, a prominent "Tip the Band" button appears on the audience page, allowing for direct, general-purpose tips at any time.
• Jumping the Line: If "Allow tipping to skip the line" is enabled for Karaoke, a user who is already in the queue can click the "Jump" button on their entry to add a tip. Tipped singers move to the top of the queue, sorted by the highest tip amount.

Every tip is recorded as a transaction on your Earnings page, and contributes to the Total Revenue figure on Analytics.

Bands can also list Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle handles as additional, no-fee tipping options shown alongside the in-app tip jar.
