Rehearsals
Schedule rehearsals, collect RSVPs, and keep everyone on the same page about what to practice.
The Rehearsals page is your band's practice calendar. Each rehearsal can have a date, time, location, notes, and an optional setlist to work through.
Creating a Rehearsal
- Click "New Rehearsal".
- Give it a name (e.g. "Weekly Practice"), date, and start/end time.
- Optionally add a location and address — the address is used to generate a map link and is included in any synced Google Calendar event.
- Add notes for anything the band should know ahead of time (e.g. "Focus on the new setlist, bring in-ears").
- Optionally link a Setlist to rehearse from — everyone can see exactly what's being worked on.
Recurring Rehearsals
If you rehearse on a regular schedule, set a recurrence when creating a rehearsal:
- Frequency: Weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly.
- Number of occurrences: Up to 52 — this creates that many individual rehearsal entries in one go, each of which can be edited or cancelled independently afterward.
RSVPs
Every band member can set their own RSVP status on each upcoming rehearsal:
- Going — you'll be there.
- Maybe — undecided.
- Can't make it — you won't be there.
Each rehearsal card shows a roster of every member (and any assigned subs) with an icon indicating their current RSVP, so you can see attendance at a glance before you show up.
Assigning Substitutes
If a regular member can't make a rehearsal, you can assign one or more substitutes directly to that rehearsal from the edit dialog. Assigned subs appear in the attendee roster alongside regular members, and the rehearsal will show up on their dashboard and Availability calendar. Subs who are not assigned to a rehearsal won't see it at all.
Google Calendar Sync
If you've connected Google Calendar on the Availability page, creating, editing, or deleting a rehearsal automatically creates, updates, or removes a matching event on your calendar — including the name, date/time, location, and notes.
